Herd Sires

Beautiful, consistent mares are only half of the equation for a successful breeding program.

Reference Stallions

Roblyn's Fancy Cat

We are thrilled to have acquired the services of the exquisite old stallion, Roblyn's Fancy Cat. Canadian raised and bred, FC had never stood at stud in the United States until spring 2006! Foaled in 1982, FC's pedigree reads like a "Who's Who" list of outstanding Welsh. These bloodlines will provide a marvelous infusion of direct line-breeding into our herd -- both L. Pandora and L. Patience have been confirmed in foal to Fancy Cat. Now back home in Langley, British Columbia, we send many thanks to Jan Systad, Milsean Farm, for letting FC come to the States for a brief visit!

Jet Arrows Oregon Spring bears a striking resemblance to his grandsire, Coed Coch Glyndwr. Still alive and producing at age 34, “Rico” as we called him, was with us from 1989-93. During that time he gave us some outstanding foals but none lovelier than the beautiful cream mare, Lochinvar Pandora.

*Bengad Lynden
foaled 1997

Imported as a weanling, Bengad Lynden, has crossed marvelously on our Lochinvar mares. We have gone back to him SIX times with three different mares. The resulting foals have been consistently beautiful, with long elegant necks, show ring presence, and wonderful mountain pony type. The two who have been shown have snagged significant wins at major shows:
*L. Donatello (Lynden x L. Prima Donna) was Res. Jr. Champion Colt at the American National and at NWWC
*L. Portrait of a Lady (Lynden x L. Pandora) was double Grand Champion Mare at the Oregon Fall Classic after winning several Champion and Reserves in the Junior ranks.
Lynden is owned by Bandy's Welsh Ponies, Beavercreek OR
